Grant Specialist

As a grant specialist I develop robust funding applications and strategies to lead and support the research activities of my clients.

 

My services include grant writing and consultation, grant administration, mentorship, project management, and the delivery of grant-based research outputs.

I have developed both small and large grant application for funding bodies around the world including AHRC, SSHRC, Wellcome Trust, ERC, Novo Nordisk Foundation, Daiwa Foundation, Leverhulme Trust, National Science Foundation and the John Templeton Foundation. 

 

My broad international network has allowed me to collaborate with academic researchers in both the sciences and humanities around the world, including in countries such as Canada, the USA, Denmark, Japan, Australia, and the UK.

 

In addition to working with academics and universities around the world, I have developed and led the grant activities for national museums in the UK, such as the Science Museum, the National Science and Media Museum, and the National Rail Museum.

 

As a grants manager I have acted as an assessor and evaluator for funding bodies, providing detailed reports and feedback for applicants. I therefore have a sound knowledge of the ingredients necessary for successful grant bids.
